To check for availabilities are only through the website. And there are 2 ways to check for the availabilities:

If still available, the unit[s] will be listed after clicking the Search button. And you may proceed to book the unit[s] that is / are suitable with your number of pax.

If the date is fully booked, the notice below will be shown:

Oppss! Sorry, we are fully booked. No units are available for bookings. Please try other dates. Thank you.

This shows there is no unit available for booking.

Note:

1. If you have keyed-in 3D2N stay, perhaps you can try 2D1N stay and check for 1 night availability.

2. If it is shown as fully booked, it is confirmed we are fully booked. The website calendar is updated and we do not have any extra units to offer.

What is the booking’s TERMS and CONDITIONS?
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
 
If you are not agreeable to the terms and conditions as specified below, please do not proceed your booking with us. Upon paying the full payment, you will be bound by them. And we shall not be held responsible for any disagreements after the payment is made.
 
ALL BOOKINGS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-CHANGEABLE

All bookings cannot be amended or cancelled [rescheduling is allowed if due to the reasons stated in the terms and conditions therein].

If any guest[s] decide[s] to cancel the booking[s] due to their own personal reasons or a no-show, the payment made to us will not be refunded and the paid amount will be forfeited [except for additional services, provided early notice is given].

If early notice is not given and preparation[s] has / have been made by us on the additional services as booked, refund is not applicable.

Refund is only applicable due to the following two [2] reasons:

1. We are directly affected with natural disasters. For example, floods and landslides. Directly affected means the incident happens at Dusun Bonda specifically or Ulu Tamu vicinity in general. 

Refund is not applicable if the incident happens elsewhere in Batang Kali town and Hulu Selangor district in general but not within our vicinity and we are deemed to be safe. If our vicinity are deemed to be unsafe, a notice to evacuate and relocate shall be issued by the relevant government authorities. As our location is next to an active residential area which is directly neighbouring the existing Kampung Orang Asli Gurney, Ulu Tamu who have been residing here for many generations. 

2. This clause refers to the 6 months Validity Period of Rescheduling clause which is explained in another section below. 

If there is no available dates and units for you to choose from at all [all dates and units are fully booked] for the whole 6 months within your validity period of rescheduling, we shall then refund your payment made. 

This is not applicable, if multiple dates are still available within that validity period but you refuse to accept because of your own personal reasons. For example, due to your late rebooking / rescheduling on our website, you refuse to reschedule on a weekday check-in because your preferred check-in date is on a Saturday. However, Saturdays check-in are no longer available within your validity period.

We shall not be held responsible to remind you to book early if for example you preferred date[s] is / are on a Saturday check-in. 

CHANGE OF DATE[S] / UNIT[S] or any changes is not allowed after the booking fee payment has been made.

[Note: The term change of date and reschedule / rescheduling will be used interchangeably in the terms and conditions therein].

Change of date is allowed if due to the following reasons and provided the relevant written proof is / are submitted to us via email:

1. COVID-19 related matters as mentioned below: 

1.1 COVID-19 Closure Notice 

If the government announces FMCO / MCO / EMCO / CMCO, no inter-district and no inter-state travelling are allowed, and we are not allowed to operate, at the time of your checking in date, then you may reschedule to a later date.

1.2 COVID-19 Positive and Quarantine 

If you or any of your family / group members are confirmed positive COVID-19 and / or confirmed to be quarantined, and you decide to reschedule the booking to a later date, we shall be notified as soon as you have been informed and not later than 1 day before arrival. And the written proof from the relevant authorities shall be submitted to us via email to booking@dusunbonda.com. The email must be sent from the registered email address on our website when the booking was made for verification. In the email, please state the ORDER ID / BOOKING ID of the booking[s]. Failing to do so, the payment made will be forfeited.

2. Closure Notices from the Government of Malaysia and / or Local Government Authorities 

If we are given any official instructions to temporarily close down due to any reasons deemed necessary by the Government of Malaysia and / or the Local Government Authorities, then you may reschedule to a later date.

3. Road Closure

3.1 If theres a road closure directly affecting Dusun Bonda. Meaning which, there is no access in and out of Dusun Bonda specifically and Ulu Tamu vicinity in general, you may reschedule to a later date. It is not applicable if the road closure is elsewhere not within our vicinity and it does not effect any access road to Dusun Bonda specifically, Ulu Tamu vicinity, Batang Kali town and Hulu Selangor district in general.

3.2 If you are not able to travel because of the road closure in your area specifically and within your vicinity in general. Meaning which theres zero options for you as all road access are either blocked or affected due to natural disasters. It is not applicable if there is still option for you but you refuse to proceed due to your own personal reasons.

4. Natural Disasters Affecting Our Guests

If our guests are affected with any natural disasters, we accept change of date for their bookings. It is applicable only if they are directly affected.

It is not applicable, for example if they have made multiple units booking, altogether 4 units are booked. Only 1 unit is affected, all other 3 units are not affected. In this case only 1 unit is allowed to reschedule and 3 other units shall proceed as booked.

5. Serious Medical Issue

We do accept change of date if our guests have a serious medial condition that requires surgery, being hospitalised, bed rest, or any medical conditions that prohibit them from checking in as booked. We require doctor’s letter, medical certificate, or any proof from the certified person / agency / office to verify the health condition.

For this matter, advance notice is required. At least 2 weeks before arrival if condition[s] is / are already known. Or on the day or 1 day before you are informed of the condition, we shall be informed on the situation and your request to reschedule. We will accept last minute request if the injury / injuries / condition[s] happens / happen the day of the check-in.

In any cases, it is case to case basis. An approval from the Management Office is required. And Dusun Bonda has the final say on this matter.

However, if the condition[s] is / are already known but you failed to inform us in advance due to your own personal reasons, we are not able to accept any requests for rescheduling. And your booking will be considered as no-show and 100% paid booking fee will be forfeited [except for additional services].

6. Death of Close Family Members

We require submission of death certificate in order for us to accept the rescheduling. 

VALIDITY PERIOD OF RESCHEDULING

Rescheduling [to rebook and stay] to a new date is valid for 6 months [Validity Period], except for ITEM 4 - Natural Disasters Affecting Our Guests, ITEM 5 - Serious Medical Issue [case to case basis, the Management Office’s discretion] after the last day of FMCO / MCO / EMCO / CMCO, premise closure notices, road closure notices, or the date we are informed of your need to reschedule due to any of the above matters or any COVID-19 related issues and ITEM 6 Death of Close Family Members.

The new date and units are subject to availability on our website. We shall not be held responsible to remind you to reschedule to a new date. Please plan and book your new date[s] early to avoid any disappointments to book your preferred date[s] and unit[s].

If any restrictions imposed by the Government is still enforced, the validity period will be extended accordingly.

BOOKINGS FOR COMPANY TRIP / COMPANY RETREAT / TEAM BULDING / FAMILY GATHERING OR ANY OTHER MULTIPLE BOOKINGS, PLEASE READ THE BELOW MENTIONED CLAUSE CAREFULLY. 

Multiple bookings / group bookings are not entitled for any special privileges. If you have any plans that require all of your family members / friends / colleagues to be present during the date[s] you have booked to stay, please do not proceed with the booking. 

Once booked and paid, you shall be bound with the terms and conditions and we shall not be held responsible for any disagreements once the booking[s] has / have been made.

For multiple bookings / group bookings, not allowed to contra any payment made [except for additional services] if any of your family members / friends / colleagues decide to cancel their unit[s] or had to reschedule their stay because of their own personal reasons and not related to any of the reasons stated in the terms and conditions.

In the event, any of your family members / friends / colleagues are confirmed positive COVID-19 and / or confirmed to be quarantined, only the affected unit[s] is / are allowed to reschedule to a later date [proof letter or notification is required]. The remaining unit[s] shall proceed accordingly.

For example, given a scenario, if you have booked 4 units of Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent for 24 adults and 12 adults are affected [positive COVID-19 and quarantine], 12 more adults are not affected [self test is required before arrival] 2 units are allowed to reschedule to a later date and 2 units shall proceed as booked. As we are already in the post COVID-19 pandemic, it is expected that at anytime anyone can be a close contact or positive with COVID-19. Hence, we shall not be held responsible for any disagreements if you still wish to proceed with the booking.

Specifically for bookings of Company’s event, reason to cancel or reschedule due to the change of Company’s  policy is not acceptable. For example, COVID-19 are on the rise, a Company decides that all employees are not allowed to organise any trips / retreats / team buildings and the like. And the Company decides any prior bookings made had to be rescheduled to a later date – which is not acceptable as stated earlier. As the booking is made post COVID-19 pandemic, it is expected that the cases are to go up and down without any notices. Hence, we shall not be held responsible for any disagreements if you still wish to proceed with the booking.

This terms and conditions are also applicable to other reasons stated above from ITEM 1 to ITEM 6. For example if you have made multiple units booking, altogether 4 units are booked. Only 1 unit is affected with a road closure, all other 3 units are not affected. In this case, only 1 unit is allowed to reschedule and 3 other units shall proceed as booked.

GENERAL

We shall not be held responsible if you place your booking during rainy season and / or it rains before or during your stay with us.

Hence, we are not able to accept any cancellations, any requests for a change of date[s], and requests for a refund if due to your check-in date[s] is / are during rainy seasons.

Late check-out or extended stay is also not applicable if during your stay it rains the whole day.

MODE OF COMMUNICATION

For official enquiries regarding a request to reschedule, submission of relevant proof[s] or any requests or enquiries with regards to the booking[s], shall be emailed from the registered email address [username] on our website used for the booking[s] to booking@dusunbonda.com

We shall not be held responsible to reply any enquiries / requests from an unregistered email [username] address on our website.

DISCLAIMER

If you are not agreeable to the terms and conditions as specified above, please do not proceed your booking with us. Upon paying the specified amount, you will be bound by them. And we shall not be held responsible for any disagreements after the payment is made. And we have the right to refuse any requests to reconsider our decision made that is inline with the terms and conditions as stated therein.

 

How to make PAYMENT if I accidentally logged out before making the payment?

TO PROCEED WITH PAYMENT:

1. Log in into your account registered on the website with your USERNAME and PASSWORD [email and password registered on the website when the booking was made].

2. Once you are logged in, go to MY ACCOUNT and Click to go to the next page

3. Go to ORDERS, Click to go to the next page

4. You will find the booking order[s] you have made with the Pending Payment status.

5. To proceed with payment, Click on the PAY button.

6. Once payment is completed, you will receive multiple auto emails confirming your booking[s].

 

After the payment has been made, how to check if my booking is CONFIRMED?

TO CHECK CONFIRMED BOOKING:

1. Log in into your account registered on the website with your USERNAME and PASSWORD [email and password registered on the website when the booking was made].

2. Once you are logged in, go to MY ACCOUNT and Click to go to the next page

3. Go to BOOKINGS, Click to go to the next page

4. You will find the booking that you have paid

5. To check the details, Click on the VIEW button. Here you will find your confirmed paid booking 

6. If the booking[s] is / are shown as PAID, the booking is / are confirmed and NO RE-CONFIRMATION IS / ARE REQUIRED.

If I were to book, what is the PAYMENT TERMS?

We only accept full payment for all bookings. Payment can be made with online banking or debit / credit card on our website.

And this payment shall be made immediately to secure the booking. If the booking status is left as PENDING PAYMENT, the system will auto cancelled it within 1 hour if no payment is made.

Important Note: Please ensure the correct personal / company details are used / registered in your account on the website. These details will be used by the system to auto generate any correspondences, documents, invoices and receipts issuance. We are not able to reissue manually any documents including invoices / receipts once the booking[s] has / have been made. 

Is the booking TRANSFERABLE?

Yes, all bookings are transferable.

If you are not able to procced with your booking, you may transfer the booking to your family members / friends / colleagues.

To do so, please provide us with the following information:

  1. Booking ID / Order ID
  2. Full Name of the person who will take over your booking.
  3. Email address - please ensure to provide a valid email address as we only communicate via email.
  4. Phone number - please provide us with the phone number for emergency purpose.
How to BOOK MULTIPLE UNITS?

First, you may check the availability and then place your bookings on our website.

For multiple units booking:

1. You may select 1 available unit of your choice first.

2. After you have selected 1 unit, go to CONTINUE SHOPPING, CLICK to book other available units of your choice.

3. After you are done selecting all of the available units of your choice, you may proceed to the payment page.

4. And proceed with the payment accordingly.

5. Please take note, if you require a separate invoice for each unit, please book separately as we are not able to reissue any invoices once the booking has been made. All invoices are auto generated by the system and it involves running numbers.

In total we have 18 units, 2 units of Studio Villa, 8 units of Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent and 8 units of Glam 4 Bell Tent. And maximum capacity is 90 adults or 108 pax with children below 12 years old.

Guests choose the units when placing their booking on our website. We do not allocate the units manually. Once they have chosen and booked the units, that are the units they will check-in into upon arrival. For example, if you booked:

Studio B Villa with riverview 
 
When you arrive you will be brought to these 2 unitsAnd so happened these 2 units are side by side as stated and shown on our website.
 
If the units you have booked are not nearby / side by side due to the inavailability or for whatever reasons there would be, we are not able to change the units for you.

Which unit is suitable for 2 pax?

The smallest unit we have is the Glam 4 Bell Tent. Usually our 2 pax guests would prefer this type. Minimum is 1 pax and maximum is for 4 adults or 4 adults and 1 child below 12 years old.

Our package is per unit / per night, hence, even if there is only 1 pax or 2 pax staying, the rate remain the same.

What is the maximum number of pax allowed for Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent, and if I have 7 adults, can I book Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent? Can we add mattress?

For Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent, the maximum number of pax allowed (fewer is allowed but not more than the number of pax mentioned below):

6 adults, or
6 adults & 1 child below 12 yrs old, or
5 adults & 2 children below 12 yrs old, or
4 adults & 3 children below 12 yrs old, or
3 adults & 4 children below 12 yrs old, or
2 adults & 5 children below 12 yrs old, or
1 adults & 6 children below 12 yrs old

If you have 7 adults, you may book 2 units of your choice. For example:

2 units of Glam 4 Bell Tent or

1 unit of Studio Villa and 1 unit of Glam 4 Bell Tent or

1 unit of Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent and 1 unit of Glam 4 Bell Tent.

Additional mattress is not allowed if the purpose is to accommodate additional pax.

Why are we are not allowed to add extra pax?

The maximum number of pax allowed is very important as it will contribute to the total number of pax for the whole place.

If we allow one unit to exceed the maximum number of pax allowed, then we have to allow other units too. If we do that, Dusun Bonda will be crowded and social distancing is not possible at the common areas, especially the swimming pool.

Hence, the SOP is to ensure that even though we are fully booked, we are not crowded.

Can we bring family members, relatives and/or friends to visit us during our stay?

Any stay-in guests are not allowed to bring their own day trip guests. Only stay-in guests are allowed to enter Dusun Bonda. This is to ensure our stay-in guests’ privacy, avoid crowdedness, to ensure social distancing, and not exceeding the total number of pax allowed in Dusun Bonda (COVID-19 SOP).

Do you not have a camping site?

We do not have a camping site, hence, own tents are not allowed.

Is DUSUN BONDA a hotel?

DUSUN BONDA is a small privately-owned Villas and Bell Tent Glamping site in a fruit orchard, offers a harmonious stay with a breathtaking atmosphere and surroundings. DUSUN BONDA offers kids-friendly facilities, a beautiful serene view alongside a river and man-made waterfall and pool.

It is perfect for families and couples looking to spend quality time with your loved ones whilst reconnecting with nature. As for the Glampers we do not provide TV, so do bring a book, music and board games if you like.

DUSUN BONDA is a self-catering nature retreat, as such we do not have services after 7pm. Fret not, our stay-in caretakers are available to assist you for any emergencies. And we will share their contact details prior to your arrival.

Do you provide WIFI service?

We are very unfortunate that we are located at the network blind spot. Only celcom works and quite stable at Dusun Bonda. However, the good news is, we managed to get MAESAT’s satellite dish installed at our premise. Hence, a prepaid wifi is available now for our guests to purchase.

Once purchased, you will be given a code. Each code can only be used for 1 user / 1 device at anytime. For another user / device to use, you need to log out, then the other user / device can log in using the same code (subject to credit availability).

Note: You can purchase the prepaid wifi upon check-in. Please inform one of our on-site staff upon arrival.

What about cell phone coverage?

Mobile networks are not stable at DUSUN BONDA except for Celcom

Are toiletries provided?

In each unit’s en-suite (Studio Villas) and private bathroom (Glamping units), we provide body wash, conditioning shampoo and hand wash. However, the bottles provided for each item belong to DUSUN BONDA and it is meant to stay in each unit’s bathroom.

If the bottles are found missing, a fee will be charged as these bottles are not complimentary.

Note: Tooth brush, toothpaste and toilet roll are not provided.

Is towel provided?

Towel is not provided but it is available for rent at RM2/each.

Do you have a hall or seminar room?

Hall – Yes, we do. Riverside Tamu Hall comprises of the main hall and mini hall. It is a common hall for all of our guests. And these halls are not available for bookings for any group activities for example team building. Unless our guests make a booking for the whole place.

Seminar room / meeting rooms are not available at Dusun Bonda. We only have private gazebos at each unit, which you can utilise for your small group discussion.

Dusun Bonda may not be a suitable venue for you to organise any team buildings, office trip for meetings or the like. Dusun Bonda is more suitable for relaxing stay, family gatherings (not family day) with casual activities.

Is parking space provided and any parking fees?

Parking space is provided just outside of the property and it is free

Is the bathroom private?

Yes, each unit has its own private bathroom that is dedicated for the guests of that particular unit only.

2 units of en suite bathroom / toilet for Studio Villas (1 unit for Studio A Villa and 1 unit for Studio B Villa)

8 units of private bathroom / toilet for 8 units of Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent (1 unit for each unit of Glam 5 Premium)

8 units of Private bathroom / toilet for 8 units of Glam 4 Bell Tent (1 unit for each unit of Glam 4).

We also provide 4 shared bathrooms for the usage of any of our stay-in guests. 2 units at the Riverside (1 units is under repair), and 2 units at the Hillside.

Do you provide a hair dryer, an iron and an iron board?

Yes we do and please contact our on-site staff if you need to use any these items.

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes, main adult pool with water bucket, kids pool and play pool with slide.

Do you have a camping site?

We do not have a camping site

Meals

Is breakfast included in all room rates?

Yes, all packages are included with breakfast. Breakfast will be served from 7:30am to 10:30am at each unit’s Private Gazebo. Note: Staff will collect all items – containers, serving trays, kettle, toaster, jug, bottles by 10:30am.

For any extra/leftovers foods and drinks, your may transfer them to the plates and cups provided. If by 10.30am, the extra/leftover foods are not transferred, we shall then collect all items and shall not be held responsible for doing so.

What are served for breakfast?
  • Nasi lemak (sambal is separated)
  • Malay kuih (eg karipap, seri muka)
  • Bread – butter, jams, kaya spread
  • Fruit
  • Nescafe sachets, tea bags, sugar and creamer - self service, kettle will be provided

Note:

1. Vegetarian menu is available, to inform us prior to arrival.

2. Stay for more than 1 night, menu will be slightly changed.

Breakfast will be served between 7:30am to 10.30am at each unit’s Private Gazebo. Please take note that our Staff will collect all items – containers, serving trays, kettle, toaster, jug, bottles by 10:30am.

For any extra/leftover food and drinks, your may transfer them to the plates and cups provided. If by 10.30am, the extra/leftover foods are not transferred, we shall then collect all items and shall not be held responsible for doing so.

A gentle reminder, please avoid putting any items and / or food on top of the toaster. We have encountered multiple incidences whereby Guests put their leftover food wrapped in aluminium foil on top of the toaster with the intention to reheat. This has  resulted the toaster side surface to melt.

If you wish to reheat your leftover food, you may proceed to the shared kitchen where the microwave is already provided for your usage at anytime of the day.

A fee will be imposed, if any damages are found to any of the electrical applicances due to your wrongful usage.

How about lunch and dinner? If not provided, what are the options?

Our package is with breakfast only. Lunch / dinner are not provided and, you may find the options to choose from as listed below:

Option 1 – Rent BBQ Pit

We believe that our guests’ glamping dream holiday is incomplete without a BBQ session with family and friends. We provide Portable BBQ Pit for rental for RM18.00 per set / per night. Please place your booking together with your Studio Villa and/or Tent’s booking(s). [If you are not able to confirm, you may inform the Reception Staff upon arrival and pay cash to them].

Bring your own food, we provide 1 plastic bag of charcoal (3 kg), 2 fire starters, wire mesh, BBQ fan, stainless steel BBQ locking thongs serving clip, plates and mugs, forks and spoons and BBQ party can be organised at each unit’s private gazebo adjacent to each unit. Note: Any additional charcoals (RM12/3 kg) and fire starters (RM1/each) will be charged accordingly. If you need any helps to start the fire please do not hesitate to inform our on-site staff. Refrigerator can be found at the Studio Villas, Riverside and Hillside Kitchens.

Option 2 – Barbeque Dinner

You may order from us for a private BBQ Dinner to be served privately - buffet style as per your order at each unit’s private gazebo. Advance notice is required at least 2 days before your arrival. Minimum order is for 1 pax.

Order 6 pax and above – all in including grilling

Order less than 6 pax – require own grilling. Our staff will prepare everything until setting up the fire on the bbq pit. And then, they will leave it for our guests to grill the marinated food.

Marinated chicken, grilled fish (cencaru), chinese fried rice style, chicken frankfurter, sweet corn, potato salad, fruit and cordial

You may bring your own food to add on. However, our staff will grill the ordered food as per menu above first. And then, they will leave the bbq pit for you to use. If you need to top up the charcoal to grill your own food its chargeable at RM12/packet.

If you would like your own food to be ready together with the ordered food, you may rent another bbq pit.

Term of Payment [Manual Order]

It can be accepted only via online transfer or cash deposit machine [not via website]. And payment shall be made before arrival. Please Email us at booking@dusunbonda.com to confirm the Number of Pax for the Private BBQ Dinner you would like to order [if you did not put a note in your booking order form or did not place your order together with your booking]. We will then confirm the total amount to be paid prior to your arrival together with the bank details. Please state your ORDER ID / BOOKING ID when placing your order.

NOTE: For manual order [email is sent to your registered email address to confirm the number of pax]. If the number of pax is not confirmed to us at least 2 days before your check-in date and payment is not made at least 1 day before your check-in date, we shall assume the order is cancelled. We shall not be held responsible to follow up or to remind.

Since we are easily accessible by road, you can opt to go out to the nearest town, Bandar Baru Batang Kali (Ligamas). From DUSUN BONDA, it takes about 9km (20 mins) by car. There is a hypermarket Econsave, Fast food eateries like KFC, Secret Recipe, Pizza Hut, Dominos, as well as restaurants such as Malay, Chinese, Mamak and Thai food.

For simpler yet tasty local food, you can also drive to the nearest eateries at Kampung Kuantan, 4.1km (10 mins) drive from DUSUN BONDA where there is a famous Roti Canai stall that has been in existence for 3 generations (if you are coming from DUSUN BONDA, it is on your right after Sek Keb Kampung Kuantan and before SYABAS treatment plant. Ask for Roti Tampal :). Open for breakfast and dinner till supper. And for a simple lunch, there is a shop selling mixed rice (before Sek Keb Kampung Kuantan (if you are coming from DUSUN BONDA). It is located at one of the Shophouses near the Multi-Purpose Hall, Kampung Kuantan.

Portable BBQ Pit is available for rent for RM18.00 per set / night. Are we allowed to bring our own portable stove and / or own bbq pit?

Yes you may bring your own portable stove and / or own bbq pit, and you are only allowed to use it at the unit’s private gazebo.

If you are bringing in your own electrical appliances, please bring your own extension cord, if your cable cord is short. And please do not use multiple appliances at the same time and resulting over usage of electrical power as this can damage the switch socket(s). If this happens, we have no choice but to charge for damages.

A gentle reminder too, please avoid putting any hot items, for example portable stove, hot steamboat pot, candles or any other hot items on the garden table, garden chair, or any other unsuitable surfaces.

We have encountered multiple incidents – very deep burnt mark left by our guests. To avoid similar incidents, please contact our on-site staff and they will provide a trivet or a foldable table, whichever is suitable.

Failing to do so, we have no choice but to charge for damages if any of the furniture’s and / or surfaces are burnt.

Are ice cubes provided?

Ice cubes are not provided or for sale at DUSUN BONDA. If you need ice cubes, we would suggest to buy them at the nearest town – Ligamas Batang Kali on your way in.

You may store them in the refrigerator provided at the shared kitchen nearest to your unit(s). If space are limited, you may pass them to our on-site staff to store them in our refrigerator.

House Rule

What are the HOUSE RULES? And What do I need to know / bring before checking in?

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for our Valued Guests’ reference which we have summarized from our website FAQ as well as Dusun Bonda’s house rule. We urged our Valued Guests to read the information provided below to avoid any problems at site.

And for our Valued Guests who is the contact person of the booking, shall be responsible to convey this information to your family members / friends / colleagues. We shall not be held responsible if any of them are not informed.

WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME?
You can check-in earliest at 2:30 pm, and the Villas and / or Bell Tents are yours until 12:00 noon on the day of your departure to make way for housekeeping works.

Early check-in is not possible as we are experiencing high occupancy mostly everyday but you may come AFTER 12.30pm to swim at the river, shower at the general bathrooms provided and rest & relax at the main hall while waiting for your unit to be ready at 2.30pm. Cooking and swimming at the pool are not allowed, if you are early.

For late check-in, your check-out time will still be at 12:00pm. Due to the high occupancy mostly everyday, we are not able to allow any late check-outs.

We are also not able to allow any guests to stay back after checking out at 12:00pm, as we are expecting the new guests to arrive any time after 12:30pm.

Late Check-Out Penalty Notice:
The latest check-out time is at 12:00pm. However, we do understand if you require a little bit more time to check-out. Hence, we allow a 1/2 hour extension which is until 12:30pm to vacate the unit[s], private bathroom[s] and private gazebo[s].
 
If anyone refuses to vacate the unit[s], private bathroom [s] and private gazebo[s] by 12:30pm after being reminded by the on-duty staff, a late-check out penalty will be imposed. 
 
Late Check-Out Charges:
Glam 4 Bell Tent - RM150.00/hour
Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent - RM200.00/hour
Studio Villa - RM250.00/hour
 
Our Housekeeping Team needs at least 2 hours or more to clean up all units, bathrooms, gazebos and all areas to prepare for the next guests. Any delays in checking-out will disturb the Housekeeping Team’s effort to complete their duties in time for the next guests.
 
HOW DO WE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?There is no lobby at DUSUN BONDA. We practice a laid-back style for check-in procedure. When you arrive, go to the RECEPTION COUNTER NEXT to RUMAH ATOK. Please mention your NAME USED FOR THE BOOKING and your UNIT NAME to the Reception Staff. The Reception Staff will then guide you to your Villa / Bell Tent.

Since, there is no lobby at DUSUN BONDA, there will be no bell boy / attendant who can performs services such as carrying guests’ luggage. We provide three (4) trolleys at the Reception Counter if you need to use it.

For the abovementioned units, we would suggest that you temporarily park the car and register first [leave your heavy items in the car]. The Reception Staff will show you the unit(s), and then you may drive up to the Upper Gate and park the car opposite to the Upper Gate.

For security reason, the Upper Gate is closed and only 1 gate entrance is opened, which is near to the Reception Counter. However, the Reception Staff can open the Upper Gate near to your unit(s), if need to.

To check-out, please inform any of our Reception Staff at site.

CAN WE STAY WITH MORE THAN THE MAXIMUM NO PAX ALLOWED?
Any stay-in guests show up with more than the maximum number of pax allowed, will be denied entry and no refund will be made.

If you still wish to proceed to stay, the extra person[s] shall leave immediately.

If the extra person[s] refuse[s] to leave, we have the right to lodge a police report for trespassing on our private property. 

CAN WE INVITE OUR OWN GUESTS FOR DAY TRIP AND NOT PART OF THE REGISTERED GUESTS?
Any stay-in guests are not allowed to bring their own day trip guests [extra pax than the maximum number of pax allowed]. Only registered stay-in guests are allowed to enter Dusun Bonda. This is to ensure our stay-in guests’ privacy, avoid crowdedness – social distancing, and does not exceed the total number of pax allowed at Dusun Bonda. 

In the event we were to find out that there are any day trip guests in your unit or within the compound, we have the right to ask the person[s] to leave our premises immediately. If the person[s] involve[s] refuse to leave, we have the right to lodge a police report for trespassing our private property.
 
WHAT TIME AND WHERE IS BREAKFAST WILL BE SERVED?

Breakfast will be served privately from 7.30am to 10.30am at your Private Gazebo (Due to COVID-19 we will not be serving breakfast at the main hall).

PLEASE TAKE NOTE BY 10.30am OUR STAFF WILL COLLECT ALL ITEMS – containers, serving trays, kettle, toaster, jug, bottles.
For any extra/leftovers foods and drinks, you may transfer them to the plates and cups provided.

If by 10.30am, the extra / leftover foods are not transferred, we shall then collect all items and shall not be held responsible for doing so.

DO YOU PROVIDE TOWEL?
We don’t provide towels. However, we do have towels available for rent, RM2/each.

ARE TOILETRIES PROVIDED?
Provided – Body wash, shampoo, hand wash are provided. Bottles of these items belong to Dusun Bonda and is meant to stay in each unit’s private bathroom. If the bottles are found missing, a fee will be charged as these bottles are NOT complimentary.

Not provided – toothpaste, toothbrush and toilet paper.

IS WIFI PROVIDED?
We are very unfortunate that we are located at the network blind spot. Only CELCOM works and quite stable at Dusun Bonda. However, the good news is, we managed to get MAESAT’s satellite dish installed at our premise. Hence, a prepaid wifi is available for our guests to purchase.

Note: You can purchase the prepaid wifi upon check-in. Please inform one of our on-site staff upon arrival.

IS SMOKING / VAPING ALLOWED?
Dusun Bonda is a smoke-free orchard stay. NO SMOKING/VAPING is allowed within the compound. Please proceed outside of the gate if you wish to smoke / vape.

ARE NON-HALAL FOOD AND DRINKS ALLOWED?
Due to the diversity of our guests, non-halal food and non-halal drinks are strictly not allowed at Dusun Bonda.

Our guests’ cooperation is greatly appreciated for the convenience of all of our guests.

ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING PETS?
Pets are not allowed at DUSUN BONDA, within the premises and / or in any units. Any guests who is found bringing their own pet[s], will be asked to leave and no refund will be made.

ARE WE ALLOWED TO BRING OUR OWN PORTABLE STOVE / OWN BBQ PIT?
Yes you may bring your own portable stove and/or own bbq pit, and you are only allowed to use it at the unit’s private gazebo.

If you are bringing in your own electrical appliances, please bring your own extension cord if your cable cord is short. And please do not use multiple appliances at the same time and resulting over usage of the electrical power as this can damage the switch socket(s). If this happens, we have no choice but to charge for damages.

A gentle reminder too, please avoid putting any hot items, for example portable stove, hot steamboat pot, candles or any other hot items onto the garden table, garden chair, or any other unsuitable surfaces. We have encountered multiple incidents – very deep burnt mark left by our guests. To avoid similar incidents, please contact our on-site staff and they will provide a trivet or a foldable table, whichever is suitable.

Failing to do so, we have no choice but to charge for damages if any of the furniture’s and / or surfaces are burnt /damage.

WILL THERE BE A BONFIRE AT NIGHT?
Bonfire will be ready after dinner time @9pm (if the weather permits). Come and join us at the bonfire site and enjoy the rest of the evening.

WILL THE GATE BE LOCKED AT NIGHT?
All gates will be locked at 11:00pm for security reason. If you wish to go out and come back after 11:00pm, please inform our Reception Staff / Caretaker and the contact number will be sent to you via E-mail and / or WhatsApp prior to your arrival.

WHAT TIME WILL THE LIGHTINGS BE SWITCHED OFF?
All outdoor lightings will be switched off at 11:00pm except at your unit and private gazebo. However, we seek your kind cooperation to switch off all lightings and outdoor fan at your private gazebo after usage to avoid wastage of electricity.

CAN WE ORGANISE A PARTY, LISTEN TO LOUD MUSIC, KARAOKE OR ANY LOUD ACTIVITIES?
We do not allow noisy parties, loud music, karaoke or any loud activities that can disturb other guests. Dusun Bonda has the right to vacate any guests who is unruly or behaving unpleasantly or create nuisance to other guests and any of Dusun Bonda’s staff. Any payments made will not be refunded, in these cases.

IS SURAU PROVIDED?
Male and Female Surau are now opened. We provide 3 prayer mats for each section. However, telekung are not provided due to hygenic purposes. Please bring your own telekung.

1. Guests with their families / friends / colleagues are to stay at Dusun Bonda at their own risk.
Dusun Bonda shall be absolved from all liabilities/claims/damages to property and personal injuries.

2. We shall assume that you have taken the time to read and shared this important information to your family members / friends / colleagues and hereby accept the house rules as specified therein.

3. We shall not be held responsible if you or any of your family members / friends / colleagues face any problems or consequences as the result of not reading this important information.

How do I check-in?

There is no lobby at DUSUN BONDA. We practice a laid-back style for check-in procedure. When you arrive, go to the RECEPTION COUNTER NEXT to RUMAH ATOK.

Please mention your NAME USED FOR THE BOOKING and your UNIT NAME to the caretaker/staff. They will then guide you to your Studio Villa and/or Bell Tent.

We would suggest for our guests of the above mentioned units that you temporarily park your car, register and leave your heavy items in the car first.  The Reception Staff will show you the unit(s), and then you may drive up to the UPPER GATE and park the car opposite to the UPPER GATE parking space.

For security reason, the UPPER GATE is closed and only 1 gate entrance is opened, which is near to the Reception Counter. However, the Reception Staff can open the UPPER GATE near to your unit(s), if need to.

Note: There will be no bell boy / attendant who can performs services such as carrying guests’ luggage. We provide [4] trolleys at the Reception Counter, if you need it.

 
What time is the check-in and check out?

You can check-in the earliest at 2:30 pm, and the Studio Villas and / or Bell Tents are yours until 12:00 noon on the day of your departure to make way for housekeeping works.

For late check-in, you may inform us via email or you may inform our on-site Reception Staff / Caretaker via Calls / Whatsapp. We will provide the contact details prior to your arrival via email / Whatsapp to the registered email address / registered contact number. The email / Whatsapp will be auto sent on the night, 1 day before your arrival, as this contact detail is contactable for our guests during their stay only.

Are early check-in and late check-allowed?

Early check-in is not possible as most of the time we are experiencing high occupancy, but you may come AFTER 12.30pm to swim at the river, shower at the general bathrooms provided and rest & relax at the main hall while waiting for your unit to be ready at 2.30pm. Cooking at the kitchen and swimming at the pool are not allowed, if you are early.

For late check-in, your check-out time will still be at 12:00pm.

Due to our high occupancy, hence we are not able to allow any late check-outs.

Late Check-Out Notice:
We do understand if you require a little bit more time to check-out. Hence, we allow a 1/2 hour extension which is until 12:30pm to vacate the unit[s], private bathroom[s] and private gazebo[s]. 
 
If any of the guests refuse to vacate the unit[s], private bathroom[s] and private gazebo[s] by 12:30pm after being reminded by the on-duty staff. A late-check out penalty will be imposed. 
 
Late Check-Out Penalty: 
Glam 4 Bell Tent - RM150.00/hour
Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent - RM200.00/hour
Studio Villa - RM250.00/hour
 
Our Housekeeping Team needs at least 2 hours or more to clean up the units, bathrooms, gazebos and all areas to prepare for the next guests. Any delays in checking out will disturb the Housekeeping Team’s effort to complete their duties in time for the next guests. 
What happened to NO SHOW?

Unit / Units not occupied by 2200 hours will be seen as No Show, unless prior arrangement has been made.

In an event of No Show, any payments made will be forfeited.

What is the maximum number of pax allowed for Glam 4 Bell Tent, and if I have 5 adults, can I book Glam 4 Bell Tent? Can we add mattress?

For Glam 4 Bell Tent, the maximum number of pax allowed (fewer is allowed but not more than the number of pax mentioned below):

4 adults, or
4 adults & 1 child below 12 yrs old, or
3 adults & 2 children below 12 yrs old, or
2 adults & 3 children below 12 yrs old, or
1 adults & 4 children below 12 yrs old

If you have 5 adults, you may book Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent or Studio Villa.

Additional mattress is not allowed if the purpose to accommodate additional pax.

What is the maximum number of pax allowed for Studio Villa, and if I have 6 adults, can I book Studio Villa? Can we add mattress?

For Studio Villa, the maximum number of pax allowed (fewer is allowed but not more than the number of pax mentioned below):

5 adults, or

If you have 6 adults, you may book Glam 5 Premium Bell Tent or 2 units of your choice.

Why are we are not allowed to add extra pax?

The maximum number of pax allowed is very important as it will contribute to the total number of pax for the whole place.

If we allow one unit to exceed the maximum number of pax allowed, then we have to allow other units too. If we do that, Dusun Bonda will be crowded and social distancing is not possible at the common areas, especially the swimming pool.

Hence, the SOP is to ensure that even though we are fully booked, we are not crowded.

Can we bring family members, relatives and/or friends to visit us during our stay?

We do not allow noisy parties, loud music, karaoke or any loud activities that can disturb other guests. Dusun Bonda has the right to vacate any guests who is unruly or behaving unpleasantly or create nuisance to other guests. Any payments made will not be refunded, in these cases.

Does Dusun Bonda have a licence to operate?

REGISTERED

We are already registered with the Majlis Perbandaran Hulu Selangor under the Inap Dusun [Orchard Stay] category - Short Term Accommodation to operate our Glamping Resort while waiting for our licensing process to be completed and approved.
 
Do we need to do COVID -19 self-test before arrival?

SELF-TEST

It is not compulsory but it is encouraged for extra precautions so that everyone can have a relaxing stay and not worrying about bring close contact to you and your family members / group members or vice versa.

Which unit is suitable for 2 pax?

The smallest unit we have is the Glam 4 Bell Tent. Usually our 2 pax guests would prefer this type. Minimum is 1 pax and maximum is for 4 adults or 4 adults and 1 child below 12 years old.

Our package is per unit / per night, hence, even if there is only 1 pax or 2 pax staying, the rate remain the same.

Can we bring family members, relatives and/or friends to visit us during our stay?

Any stay-in guests are not allowed to bring their own day trip guests. Only stay-in guests are allowed to enter Dusun Bonda. This is to ensure our stay-in guests’ privacy, avoid crowdedness, to ensure social distancing, and not exceeding the total number of pax allowed in Dusun Bonda (COVID-19 SOP).

How far is the nearest Town?

Since we are easily accessible by road, you can opt to go out to the nearest town, Bandar Baru Batang Kali (Ligamas). From DUSUN BONDA, it takes about 9km (20 mins) by car. There is a hypermarket Econsave, Fast food eateries like KFC, Secret Recipe, Pizza Hut, Dominos, as well as restaurants such as Malay, Chinese, Mamak and Thai food.

For simpler yet tasty local food, you can also drive to the nearest eateries at Kampung Kuantan, 4.1km (10 mins) drive from DUSUN BONDA where there is a famous Roti Canai stall that has been in existence for 3 generations (if you are coming from DUSUN BONDA, it is on your right after Sek Keb Kampung Kuantan and before SYABAS treatment plant. Ask for Roti Tampal :). Open for breakfast and dinner till supper. And for a simple lunch, there is a shop selling mixed rice (before Sek Keb Kampung Kuantan (if you are coming from DUSUN BONDA). It is located at one of the Shophouses near the Multi-Purpose Hall, Kampung Kuantan.

Is DUSUN BONDA a hotel?

DUSUN BONDA is a small privately-owned Villas and Bell Tent Glamping site in a fruit orchard, offers a harmonious stay with a breathtaking atmosphere and surroundings. DUSUN BONDA offers kids-friendly facilities, a beautiful serene view alongside a river and man-made waterfall and pool.

It is perfect for families and couples looking to spend quality time with your loved ones whilst reconnecting with nature. As for the Glampers we do not provide TV, so do bring a book, music and board games if you like.

DUSUN BONDA is a self-catering nature retreat, as such we do not have services after 7pm. Fret not, our stay-in caretakers are available to assist you for any emergencies. And we will share their contact details prior to your arrival.

Do you provide WIFI service?

We are very unfortunate that we are located at the network blind spot. Only CelcomDigi works and quite stable at Dusun Bonda.

However, the good news is, FREE WIFI [Starlink] is now available for usage at the Riverside Tamu Hall [main hall].

You may encounter some interruptions if it rains, as it uses a satellite dish.

We also we have a PREPAID WIFI, which has more coverage available  for our guests to purchase [CONNECTme NOW].

Once purchased, you will be given a code. Each code can only be used for 1 user / 1 device at anytime. For another user / device to use, you need to log out, then the other user / device can log in using the same code (subject to credit availability).

You may encounter some interruptions if it rains, as it uses MAESAT’s satellite dish.
 
Under normal circumstances, the service is stable and we have had guests who stayed with us who used the service for their office conference calls and kids online class.
 
The network is stronger at the main hall, poolside, hillside - nearer to the satellite dish.

What about cell phone coverage?

Mobile networks are not stable at DUSUN BONDA except for CelcomDigi.

Are toiletries provided?

In each unit’s en-suite (Studio Villas) and private bathroom (Glamping units), we provide body wash, conditioning shampoo and hand wash. However, the bottles provided for each item belong to DUSUN BONDA and it is meant to stay in each unit’s bathroom.

If the bottles are found missing, a fee will be charged as these bottles are not complimentary.

Note: Tooth brush, toothpaste and toilet roll are not provided.

Is towel provided?

Towel is not provided but it is available for rent at RM2/each.

Do you have a hall or seminar room?

Hall – Yes, we do. Riverside Tamu Hall comprises of the main hall and mini hall. It is a common hall for all of our guests. And these halls are not available for bookings for any group activities for example team building. Unless our guests make a booking for the whole place.

Seminar room / meeting rooms are not available at Dusun Bonda. We only have private gazebos at each unit, which you can utilise for your small group discussion.

Dusun Bonda may not be a suitable venue for you to organise any team buildings, office trip for meetings or the like. Dusun Bonda is more suitable for relaxing stay, family gatherings (not family day) with casual activities.

Yes, each unit has its own private bathroom that is dedicated for the guests of that particular unit only.

We also provide 4 shared bathrooms for the usage of any of our stay-in guests. 2 units at the Riverside (1 unit is under repair), and 2 units at the Hillside.

Do you provide a hair dryer, an iron and an iron board?

Yes we do and please contact our on-site staff if you need to use any these items.

Do you have a day trip package?

We do not have a day trip package. Minimum is 2 days and 1 night stay.

Is there a swimming pool?

Yes, main adult pool with water bucket, kids pool and play pool with slide.

What would I do if I have a complain during my stay?

Please immediately call / Whatsapp the Reception Staff / Caretaker if you encounter any issues during you stay.

We would like all our guests to have an enjoyable stay with us but sometimes things may go wrong. If this happens please notify our Reception staff / Caretaker immediately so that we can help you.

It is more difficult to investigate a complaint if we only hear about it after you have left.
